Fighting ALS for over 20 years

Information, news, and updates that are important for people with ALS will also be provided. These Blog/Vlog (video and text with links and info) entries are short and straight to the point to help families navigate the many challenges of living with ALS. The Independent PALS and Caregivers Council (IPCC)
- The Independent PALS and Caregivers Council (IPCC) is a voluntary, informal network of people living with ALS (PALS) and caregivers in the Greater Charlotte and Piedmont Triad areas. IPCC’s aim is to serve as a collective voice to share ideas and feedback with regional care service providers, advocacy groups, and ALS clinics; ensure that the voice of PALS and caregivers is heard; and advocate for coordinated, consistent, effective, and equitable services to PALS and their caregivers. IPCC holds monthly Zoom meetings and welcomes new members. For more information, reach out to Ken Menkhaus at [email protected]

We are always able to answer your ALS questions, and direct you to our excellent online resource: Home Life for PALS, a video series on the Joe Martin ALS Foundation YouTube Channel. Please don't hesitate to contact us with your inquires and requests. Click the GET HELP button below to fill out an application for assistance.
Our Mission
