Our caregiver, Felicia, shared this story recently. Our client, Asia, wanted to go swimming. So Felicia and Asia found a nearby pool that was accessible with a lift, packed their swim bag, and headed out. But when they arrived they discovered that the pool hoyer lift was not working. Asia was disappointed to say the least and simply responded, “well, maybe another time.”<\/p>\n
But Felicia was on a mission to help Asia swim. She said, “let\u2019s do it today because\u00a0tomorrow isn\u2019t promised.”<\/span><\/p>\n So with Felicia’s love, determination, and assistance, she helped her in the pool. Felicia shared, “the smile on Asia’s face was priceless! It was then I knew that what the JMALSF did truly made a difference.”<\/p>\n To date we have raised just over $311,000! That is $11,000 over our original goal! Thank you! Can we beat last year of raising $325,000? With your help, we can!
