About Joe's Camp
Joe's Camp, a program of The Joe Martin ALS Foundation presented by ALSA NC Chapter, is a free overnight summer camp for kids ages 8-17 whose families are touched by ALS. The goal of Joe's Camp is to give kids the chance to have fun, explore new activities, and talk about ALS with others who understand. In addition to our overnight program, we also offer a "Parent's Day" program that discusses topics such as "Parenting Through ALS" and a caregiving training session for the parents, grandparents, and caregivers of our campers that are attending for the weekend.
